The enhanced version of Akshar Naveen has added features of

Akshar Naveen complements Akshar for
Windows (AfW), the earlier version of the famed Akshar series.
Akshar Naveen 1.0 is a practical fusion of modern computing with
Indian languages. It is available in English and 4 Indian languages

multi-platform office productivity suite, and includes key desktop
applications such as word processor, spreadsheet program,
presentation manager, and drawing program. It comes with a user

Akshar for Windows
The Akshar for Windows (AFW)
software comprises of two components - a keyboard driver program (Akshar
System Hook) and a MS-WORD add-in program (Akshar). The keyboard
driver allows you to use Devanagari fonts with most of the Windows
application such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Page Maker etc. The
MS-WORD add-in on the other hand is a specific additional program,
which works with MS-WORD and provides complete word processing
facilities in Devanagari.
